Easter Wishes

I'm on a clean and simple roll because of the class I'm taking from Online Card Classes and when I saw the CTS#13 sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch I knew it was a perfect chance for a sweet and simple Easter card.

I started with a card base of Sweet Tooth then added the Kraft panel. I stamped the sentiment from Embellished Eggs with MFT Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink. I used the coordinating Easter Elements Die-namics to cut out the adorable little chick from Lemon Drop card stock. I popped his wing on foam tape for a touch of dimension, stamped his legs with MFT Kraft Premium Dye Ink, and added a black rhinestone for his eye.

For the little flag element I used the Small Scallop Border Die-namics to cut out a patterned paper from the Echo Park For the Record 2 collection, stitched it in place and added five clear rhinestones. That's it...I had to keep telling myself "That's it. You're done Karen. Don't add anything. Leave it alone." I still look at it and wonder if it's too plain, but I like it.

On the inside all I did was stamp another sentiment from Embellished Eggs.

Here are the supplies I used:
