Happy Friday!!!
It's been ages since I played along with a Bellarific Friday challenge and I needed to show some new rubbah a little love, so this week I created a card for the Bellarific Friday sketch challenge. Woot Woot! I do love me a good sketch!
I'm counting this as card #2 for Project Christmas 2013. Ok, maybe it's more of a wintery card, but it's going into my Christmas card stash. I find the best way to get into the Christmas card-making mood at this time of year is to ink up some new rubber. My philosophy is "It's never to late (or too early) to buy Christmas stamps". I chose Uptown Girl Winona Loves Winter from Stamping Bella. I used to love tobogganing as a kid and this image brings back some fond memories of the good 'ole wooden toboggan. We used to cram as many kids as we could onto one of these babies, usually all tumbling off at some point down the hill. Good times!
I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-Press It Blending Card and coloured her with copic markers. I added some Star Dust Stickles to her skirt for a little sparkle. I used my Let It Snowflake Die-namics from to cut out the blue snowflake and topped it with a clear rhinestone. The patterned papers are from the Carta Bella Winter Fun collection.
Don't forget to hop over to Bloggabella to see all of this week's entries!
Here are the supplies I used:
