MFTeaser - Let's Get Together

Welcome to day five of seven fabulous days of MFT teasers!

It's à la modes day and I used the new à la modes Martinis on Me. Gosh, you'd think I'm a party animal or something with my alcohol themed posts the past two days, but it is the weekend after all! LOL!

I love working with purple on a card, and with the bright colours and colour blocking I'm seeing in the fashion world lately, I decided to go bold and pair purple with orange. The image is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and coloured with copics. Can I just say, I adore how her hair turned out!!! I wish copic markers worked on real hair (or maybe it's better that they don't), because I'd be a red head right now if they did!!! The layout is Jen's Deconstructed Sketch #45.

I used my Circle STAX 1 Die-namics to cut out the grape jelly circle before embossing it with the seeing spots embossing folder. Then I used the dizzy doily Die-namics to cut out the mustard patterned paper, which is from the Teresa Collins Fabrications Canvas 8x8 pad. The new Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics were perfect to cut out the orange fizz card stock card stock and the flower was cut from wisteria felt using the royal rose Die-namics. I used the new Royal Leaves Die-namics to cut out the sour apple felt leaf accents, and I finished the image panel with two coats of clear glaze pen on the martini glass.

On the inside I combined two of the sentiments which work perfectly together and stamped the image again with Memento Lulu Lavender ink.

MFTeaser - Happy Hour

Welcome to day four of seven fabulous days of MFT teasers!!!

Today we're hitting the bottle with the new Let's Toast stamps and Die-namics set. Talk about FUN!!! I made a wine bottle tag and coordinating card to go along with it.

I have to tell you, there are so many fabulous sayings in this set, and I was reading them, trying to decide which one to use, when I read "Why limit Happy to an Hour?" and I knew it was the one. Quite frankly, as soon as I read it I thought of my buddy Wendy Bond, so GF...this one's for you! LOL!!

I cut the bottle tag from fossil card stock  then layered on some patterned paper from the Teresa Collins Fabrications Linen 8x8 pad. I used the Circle STAX 1 and Circle STAX 2 Die-namics to create the layers for the sentiment and used larger of the open scallop doily duo Die-namics to cut out the black licorice layer. I cut the wine glasses from wild cherry card stock then coated them with clear glaze pen for some shine.

For the coordinating card I went the 'thank you' route. I used the double scallop border Die-namics to cut out the cream scallop layer at the bottom of the card.

For the focal part of the card I cut out two more wine glasses from black licorice card stock and I also used the Mini Doily Circles Die-namics to cut out the adorable coordinating mini doily. The little fossil tag in the center of the mini doily was cut out using the circle from the Let's Toast Die-namics and of course, there are sentiments sized to fit perfectly inside!! Can you tell I'm loving this set?!? There are just soooooo many possibilities with it! And I didn't even get a chance to play with the wine glass charm die yet.

MFTeaser - Years of Happiness

Welcome to day three of seven fabulous days of MFT teasers!!!

Today is all about sentiments and I've used the new Clearly Sentimental About Anniversaries. This set is full of sentiments that are perfect for any "mood" of anniversary card, be it romantic, generic, or humorous.  :-)

Clearly Sentimental About Anniversaries is the Triple Scoop set for this release. That means you get it FREE with a qualifying $60 order...just be sure to add it to your cart.

To add some interest to my card I decided to use the Jumbo Banner Days STAX Die-namics as a layer. I cut the largest size from whip cream card stock, the blue layer from Bo Bunny Welcome Home patterned paper, and the scallop from hot fudge card stock.

For the sentiment I used the oval STAX 2 Die-namics to cut out the fossil oval, then stamped the sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black. To embellish the card I reached for the rolled rose Die-namics and the mini rolled roses Die-namics and cut them from puff cloud white felt. Then I used the gorgeous new Royal Leaves Die-namics to cut out the sour apple felt leaves.

On the inside I stamped another sentiment from the set and used the Chevron Stripes Die-namics to cut out the sour apple felt accent.

MFTeaser - Knowledge

Welcome to day two of seven fabulous days of MFT teasers!

Today I made a card using the fabulous new Inspired by Knowledge set and the amazing By the Letters Uppercase Die-namics.

These two new products just seem to go hand in hand, in my opinion, and I love having the option of upper case die cut letters now! Woo hoo!!!

The image is stamped with memento Tuxedo Black and coloured with copics. It's one of those easy ones to colour because the shading is built right into the stamped image. I stitched around the edge then layered it onto black licorice card stock and added black brads to the corners.

Here's a close up of the letters, which I cut out of tangy orange card stock as well as black licorice card stock to create the layered effect.

A little charcoal twine finished off the bottom of the patterned panel quite nicely. The patterned paper is from the October Afternoon Report Card 8x8 pad and the green base layer is sour apple card stock.

Be Merry {MFTWSC65}

It's time to get sketchy with the MFT Wednesday Stamp Club and sketch  65.

I stuck pretty much exactly to the sketch this week, and used à la modes Candy Cane Kisses to create card #13 for Project Christmas 2012.

The image is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and coloured with copic markers. I used a green Spica glitter pen to add sparkle to the candy cane then layered the image onto wild cherry card stock.

I used the larger size from the open scallop doily duo Die-namics to cut out the fossil circle element and used the chat bubbles Die-namics for the sentiment. The patterned paper is from the Authentique Wonder 6x6 bundle and the green base layer is jelly bean green card stock. The cream scalloped piece was cut out using the scalloped scallop border Die-namics.

Here are the sketchy details:

There's a prize each week for one participant, chosen at random. You may use any stamps and supplies that you wish. Each week a keyword is assigned to the sketch, and this week's keyword is MFTWSC65. All you need to do to enter is upload your card to the gallery at Splitcoast and enter the given keyword in the keyword box during the upload process. After the deadline (noon Eastern on Tuesday) we randomly choose a winner from that week's entries and the winner will receive a $15 gift voucher. If the winning card uses MFT stamps, the participant will earn a $5 bonus, for a total of a $20 gift voucher!

Be sure to head over to Kim's Blog to view the entire list of design team participants...there's plenty of inspiration for you with today’s sketch!
