Hello

Recently I found a new sketch challenge blog, CAS(E) This Sketch, and the layouts are very clean and simple, which I seem to be into lately. This card is for CTS#2.

I used Thankful Leaves from My Favorite Things and the sentiment is from Finishing Flourishes.

I stamped the leaves with Memento Potter's Clay and Memento Peanut Brittle onto Kraft cardstock and added the veins with Memento Rich Cocoa. Then I used the narrow banner from First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics to cut out the Whip Cream strip and stamped the sentiment. I added a Tangy Orange button and tied it with Hemp Cord, then added a row of paper piercing to draw more attention to the sentiment. I inked the edges of the Kraft layer with Antique Linen Distress Ink then added a layer of Hot Fudge card stock.

Here are the supplies I used:

Thanks for stopping by!

I would love to do more simply sketches too! I seem to always do the real detailed one. I hadn't seen that challenge before either. This is wicked GF!
