MFTeaser - True Friends

Welcome to day five of seven fabulous days of MFT teasers!!

It's à la modes day and I made a fun card for another of my best friends that helps me weather difficult times. I used à la modes The Rainbow Will Come. I love her giant umbrella!!!

Her coat and boots are perfect for paper piecing so, of course, I indulged. The patterned papers are from the Echo Park Walk in the Park paper pad and the image is layered onto Blue Raspberry card stock. I used the new Photo Corners Die-namics to cut out the blue patterned paper and added one of the corners to the top left corner of the image as fun accent. The Mini Monarch Border Die-namics was perfect for cutting out some Hot Fudge card stock to accent the horizontal strip. I finished the horizontal strip with some Caribbean Teal twine. The layout is FMS24 from Freshly Made Sketches blog.

I couldn't resist adding a couple coats of clear glaze pen to the puddle to make is shiny. Isn't it purty!!!

On the inside I stamped the image again with teal ink then added the sentiment onto the Sour Apple card stock strip.
