Thinking of You {MFTWSC140}

It's time to get sketchy with the MFT Wednesday Stamp Club and sketch 140. I's Thursday...but the sketch came out yesterday on the MFT Blog, and that's where you'll find all the details on how to play along for a chance to win up to $20 in MFT Money.

I couldn't resist using the gorgeous new Fancy Butterflies Die-namics, which were just released, for my card today. I thought I'd show you how the arrow elements on the sketch can be any shape.

I started with a Kraft card base then used the Blueprints 3 Die-namics to cut out the Pink Lemonade square. The rest of the elements (except the butterfly) were cut out using the Blueprints 7 Die-namics, including the Sweet Tooth layer.

I cut out the Pink Lemonade and Steel Grey butterflies with the Fancy Butterflies Die-namics then I sprayed them with the MIX-ables Sheer Shimmer Mist and the MIX-ables Steel Shimmer Mist. I love how each of the layers shimmers on it's own. I adhered the body of the grey butterfly then bent up the wings for dimension.

For the sentiment I cut out the Steel Grey talk bubble with the element from Blueprints 7 Die-namics then I stamped the sentiment from Winged Beauties with Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink and I heat embossed it with white powder. The Blu Raspberry was also cut out using the Blueprints 7 Die-namics and I stamped the large dots from Darling Dots with Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink. The colour scheme is thanks to cQc#205 over on the Colour Q blog.

Along the bottom of the card I used the Blueprints 7 Die-namics again to cut out the Razzle Berry strip, then I wrapped some Hemp Cord and tied a Pink Lemonade button.

I hope you'll play along and link your creation on the MFT Blog.

Here are the supplies I used:

Ooh love your interpretation of the sketch and the butterfly instead of the arrow image!! And how clever is that button for the circle bit!

These colors sing...!! & I love how you used the butterfly in place of the arrows element from the sketch!!
