MFTeaser - Class Act

Welcome to day six of seven fabulous days of MFT teasers!

Today I created a fun teacher card using a bunch of new school inspired stamps and Die-namics from Laina Lamb: Journal It-Head of the Class, Document It-School Days, Accent It-School Days Die-namics and Border It-Numbers Die-namics.

I started with a Sweet Tooth card base then built the card on a layer of Electric Red.

For the cluster of elements I used the Pierced Rectangle STAX Die-namics to cut out the Smooth White  piece then I stamped the notebook lines from Journal It-Head of the Class with Kraft Premium Dye Ink. Next I inked up the class act stamp, also from Journal It-Head of the Class, with Steel Grey Premium Dye Ink, stamped it onto Smooth White then cut it out. I used the Accent It-School Days Die-namics to cut out the Smooth White A+ then stamped the coordinating image from Document It-School Days using Electric Red Premium Dye Ink. I popped the A+ and the class act sentiment on foam tape for a little dimension.

Along the bottom of the card I trimmed a rectangle of Berrylicious to size then stamped the argyle pattern from Textile Backgrounds using Berrylicious Premium Dye Ink. I used the Border It-Numbers Die-namics to cut out the Kraft numbers then I snipped it off at number 7, because that's as long as I wanted the string of numbers to be.  :-)

I mounted the entire Electric Red panel on foam tape for even more dimension and added two white brads in the corner.

On the inside I stamped the pencil and ruler from Document It-School Days with Electric Red Premium Dye Ink and Kraft Premium Dye Ink respectively.

I think this is a great teacher appreciation card for either the start of school or any time during the year.
