Today I have a sweet Easter card to share using Lisa Johnson Designs Embellished Eggs stamp set and the coordinating Easter Elements Die-namics. This set is full of sweet spring and Easter images.
I started with a card base of Sweet Tooth cardstock then added a layer of Razzle Berry. The pink patterned paper is from the Echo Park Springtime collection. Check out the gorgeous new Lattice Fence Die-namics...swoon!
I had fun creating this little scene and I have a funny story about the grass. So I cut out the five layers of grass from Sour Apple cardstock and glued them all down, finished the card with the other elements and took all my photographs. Then as I was typing up this post I pulled out the die I used to cut the grass (just to confirm the name which I have written on the back of each of my dies) and I realized I used the Icicle Border Die-namics instead of the Fresh Cut Grass Die-namics. Doh!!! Shall we just say the grass was recently mowed so it's nice and short and standing up straight? LOL! Ok, back to the other elements on my card. I used the egg from Easter Elements Die-namics to cut out the Kraft egg then stamped it with Versamagic Turquoise Gem.
I cut out the rest of the Easter Elements Die-namics from Sweet Tooth cardstock then pulled out my Lemon Drop Premium Dye Ink Pad and my Razzle Berry Premium Dye Ink Pad to stamp the birds, their wings, and the flower. I added a rhinestone to the center of the flower then coloured it with my RV09 copic marker. I used the Flat-Bottom Clouds Die-namics to cut out the Sweet Tooth felt cloud.
On the inside I stamped one of the sentiments from Embellished Eggs with Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink and added a flower trio for a little pop of colour.
