Hi {MFTWSC118}

It's time to get sketchy with the MFT Wednesday Stamp Club and sketch 118.

The circles on this week's sketch are so fun! I decided to use a bunch of patterned paper from the Fancy Pants Family Ties collection in blues, yellow and green. It's such a happy colour combination!

I started with a card base of Sweet Tooth, then added a layer of Lemon Drop. I embossed another Sweet Tooth piece with my swiss dots embossing folder and added a piece of Sno Cone along the bottom. I used the Circle 1 STAX Die-namics and the Circle 2 STAX Die-namics to cut out all of the circles and a strip of Sour Apple grosgrain ribbon was perfect to divide the Sno Cone and Sweet Tooth layers.

I used the High-Rise Alphabet Uppercase Die-namics to cut out the word "HI" from Sweet Tooth and polka dot paper then layered them onto the yellow circle. For the flag element I used the Fishtail Flags Layers STAX Die-namics to cut out the blue flag, then ran it though a second time to turn it into a double ended flag. I stamped "call me" from Say What Sentiments using Versamark ink then heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I finished the card with three gems in the corner which I coloured with a dark blue copic maker.

Here are all the sketchy details:

There's a prize each week for one participant, chosen at random. You may use any stamps and supplies that you wish. Each week a keyword is assigned to the sketch, and this week's keyword is MFTWSC118. All you need to do to enter is upload your card to the gallery at Splitcoast and enter the given keyword in the keyword box during the upload process. After the deadline (noon Eastern on Tuesday) we randomly choose a winner from that week's entries and the winner will receive a $15 gift voucher. If the winning card uses MFT stamps, the participant will earn a $5 bonus, for a total of a $20 gift voucher!

Be sure to head over to the MFT Blog to view the entire list of design team participants...there's plenty of inspiration for you with today’s sketch!

Ooooo, I love the blue and yellow patterned paper on your card. This is a great sketch and if I wasn't compelled to look at every single entry on your blog I might even get a card made myself. Thanks for sharing your amazing talent.
