I wasn't in a colouring mood (shocking!) when I was working on this card so I reached for Vertical Greetings II Stamps and Die-namics and one of the fabulous saying from the set.
I knew I didn't want to go with bright colours for today's card so I chose papers from the My Mind's Eye Nutmeg collection and stuck with neutrals and blues.
I cut out the sentiment panel from patterned paper and it was a little flimsy so I also cut out the same shape from Kraft card stock and adhered the two layers together for a little more rigidity. I stamped the sentiment with Versamagic Ocean Depth (I'm loving my new Versamagic chalk inks) and added some rhinestones for a little bling. For the tab I simply used the Small Scallop Border Die-namics to cut out the blue patterned paper then trimmed it down to five scallops.
For the flower I used the smallest size of the Botanical Beauty Die-namics to cut out some cream card stock and the center was cut from Kraft card stock. I can't seem to get enough of the new MFT Buttons so I added a Berrylicious button to the center. The Dizzy Border Die-namics was perfectly lacy and delicate for the horizontal element.
Here are the sketchy details:
There's a prize each week for one participant, chosen at random. You may use any stamps and supplies that you wish. Each week a keyword is assigned to the sketch, and this week's keyword is MFTWSC82. All you need to do to enter is upload your card to the gallery at Splitcoast and enter the given keyword in the keyword box during the upload process. After the deadline (noon Eastern on Tuesday) we randomly choose a winner from that week's entries and the winner will receive a $15 gift voucher. If the winning card uses MFT stamps, the participant will earn a $5 bonus, for a total of a $20 gift voucher!
Be sure to head over to the MFT Blog to view the entire list of design team participants...there's plenty of inspiration for you with today’s sketch!

Karen, I really like your card -- I like the blues and that patterned paper that looks moroccan kinda. I love that Ocean Depth ink too... Your flower looks like it's from that very thin foam stuff we used to use for girl scout projects. Anyway, you've given me a great deal to think about! Oh, and I love the MFT buttons too! I bought 3 colors, put them in a canning jar and it's so pretty I don't want to use any! I'm a goose!
Beautiful card. Love the colors and the sentiment.
Was all prepared for a PI girl but I love this! Such pretty blues!
