MFT December Release Countdown - Wish and Celebrate

This is it! The final day of the countdown to the December release with My Favorite Things! All the new products will be available in the Brand Spankin' New section of the MFT Boutique tonight at 10pm EST.

Hop over to the MFT Blog for all the new product details and for a list of today's participating designers. There's also amazing prize info that you won't want to miss out on!

I have two cards to share today, and they're completely different from each other. I'll start off with my card using Pure Innocence Wish You Were Here.

I couldn't resist creating this little scene. You know how when you see an image you sometimes get an idea for  it right away? Well that's what happened to me with this little sweetie sitting on the park bench.

I started with a Sweet tooth card base then added layers of Kraft and Sno Cone. I stamped the girl from Pure Innocence Wish You Were Here and the dog from Wendy Burns Designs Best Friends with Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-Press It Blending Card and coloured them with copic markers. I fussy cut around them and even cut out the little spaces on the bench, because it looked weird with the extra white space. I mounted the images on foam tape for dimension. In the background I used the Picket Fence Die-namics for the Sweet Tooth fence and the Grassy Edges Die-namics to cut out the Sour Apple grass. A strip of Steel Blue is the perfect sidewalk.

I used the Cloud Trio Die-namics to cut out the Sweet Tooth cloud then stamped the sentiment using Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink.

The sun was created by using the Sunshine Die-namics to cut out some Lemon Drop card stock, then I sponged the edges with Orange Fizz Premium Dye Ink.

On the inside I stamped the girl again with Kraft Premium Dye Ink and added another sentiment from the set.

I just love it when a vision comes to life like this card!

**********
Now let's flip over to the more elegant side for my next card.

I started with a Sweet Tooth card base again then added layers of Black Licorice and Natural. I used the Damask Designs stamp set, stamped with Natural Premium Dye Ink, to add pattern to the background layer. Along the bottom I added a piece of Insulation Pink and stamped two sentiments from Celebrate Big. I used the Celebratory Greetings Die-namics to cut out the Black Licorice word.

The champagne glass was a cinch to create using the Layered Champagne Glass Die-namics. I added a few small pearls for the bubbles.

On the inside I added another strip of the damask paper then stamped another sentiment from Celebrate Big.

Have fun hopping around today!

She has a puppy!! How sweet!! What a fun combination of the sets. And I LOVE your champagne glass - it's meant to do with the damask.
