MFTeaser - More Candles

Welcome to day seven of seven fabulous days of MFT teasers!

It's almost time to shop! All the new products will be available in the MFT Boutique tonight at 10pm EDT. The best place to see all the new products in one place is to click on the Brand Spankin' New tap. Hop over to the MFT Blog for a list of today's participating designers and for the amazing prize info!

I have yet another birthday card to share today. My stash has been growing in leaps and bounds, but you really can never have enough of them on hand, right?

I started with a Sweet Tooth card base then built the card on another Sweet Tooth layer.

I used the Pierced Circles STAX Die-namics to cut out the Sweet Tooth circle for the sentiment and backed it with a Sour Apple circle I cut out using the Circle 2 STAX Die-namics. The sentiment from Birthday Greetings was stamped using Blu Raspberry Premium Dye Ink.

I had fun creating the candles. I chose patterns from the Washi Patterns stamp set and stamped the dots using Tangy Orange Premium Dye Ink onto Orange Fizz card stock. The lines were stamped with Electric Red Premium Dye Ink onto Red Hot card stock, then I trimmed the pieces down to size. The flames were created using the leaves from Flower and Leaf Trio Die-namics and cutting them from Lemon Drop, then I covered them with MIX-ables Sheer Sparkle Glitter Glaze.

Along the bottom of the card I trimmed a Blu Raspberry piece to size then stamped it with the triangles from Jumbo Mod Borders with white chalk ink. I added a strip of Black Licorice along the bottom to help ground everything, then I tied it in with a scattering of black enamel dots.

On the inside I used the Happy Birthday Die-namics to cut out words from Orange Fizz, Blu Raspberry, and Black Licorice.

*** Some of the products I used today are exclusive to My Favorite Things. The Party Balloons stamp set, along with the Party Balloons Die-namics and the Happy Birthday Die-namics are available only in the MFT Boutique as part of the 7th birthday bash! ***

Here are the supplies I used:
