I realized after I made this card that the last 'thank you' card I made was also using Pretty Poppies. Hmmm, I'm thinking I like this set, just a little. :-)
I started with a card base of Whip Cream then I added a layer of Black Licorice. I built my card on the Kraft layer. I used some white chalk ink to stamp the two poppies in the background then I used the Poppies and Leaves Die-namics to cut out the Whip Cream bloom and leaf. I stamped the flower with Electric Red Premium Dye Ink and stamped the leaf and stem with Sour Apple Premium Dye Ink. I hand cut the stem. I added some chunky black glitter to the center of the flower for just a little sparkle. Do you see the little splatters on the Kraft card stock? I used the Kraft Premium Dye Ink Refill, watered down with a little water, to create the splatters with a paint brush. I like how it adds just the right touch.
Along the bottom of the card I stamped the long script from Pretty Poppies with Kraft Premium Dye Ink then used the Simply Scallops Medium Die-namics to cut out the Electric Red card stock. I added a piece of crochet trim and stamped the 'thank you' with Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink.
On the inside I stamped another bloom using Kraft Premium Dye Ink.
Here are the supplies I used:
Thanks for stopping by!
