MFTeaser - Make a Splash

Welcome to day three of seven fabulous days of MFT teasers!

I have a fun and bright summer themed card today, using the adorable new Doodle Garden Take the Plunge stamp set. All the new products will be available in the MFT Boutique on July 9th at 10pm EDT. Hop over to the MFT Blog for a list of today's participating designers and for the amazing prize info!

I had so much fun with the colours in this card! I used the Blueprints 5 Die-namics to cut out all the elements and the layout is one of the sketches provided with the Blueprints 5 Die-namics.

I started with a Sweet Tooth card base. I cut out the Banana Split base layer with the Blueprints 5 Die-namics (love those rounded corners) then I added pattern thanks to the new Concentric Circles Stencil and Banana Split Premium Dye Ink. I used the base rectangle die to cut out the Razzle Berry card stock then just placed it onto the yellow layer and trimmed it to size.

The image was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-Press It Blending Card and coloured with copic markers. I fussy cut around her because I knew I wanted to layer her onto Sno Cone. But the Sno Cone panel was looking a little plain so I added the zig zag image from Jumbo Mod Borders, stamped with Sno Cone Premium Dye Ink, across the middle of the panel. Then I stamped the sentiment using Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink and adhered the girl with foam tape.

The flower accent was created by using the three sizes of flower dies from Blueprints 5 Die-namics and layering Orange Fizz and Tangy Orange card stocks. I finished the card with two groupings of rhinestones.

On the inside I inked Doodle Garden Take the Plunge again with Razzle Berry Premium Dye Ink and masked the card so only her feet would stamp. Then I drew a line with a ruler and black multiliner and added another sentiment above the line.

Here are the supplies I used:
