Today is all about time with the new Timeless stamp set and the Time Pieces Die-namics, part of the Mona Pendleton Designs line, along with a fun Plaid Builder Background and Pierced Circle STAX Die-namics. All the new products will be available in the MFT Boutique on August 6th at 10pm EDT. Hop over to the MFT Blog for more details!
I created a clean and simple card which highlights the new Fuse Green colour. Love it!!! I started with a Whip Cream card base then used the large rectangle from Blueprints 6 Die-namics to cut out the Hot Fudge layer.
I wanted a square clock and the Pierced Square STAX Die-namics were the perfect choice with the detail around the edges. I cut the clock out of Fuse Green card stock. I think this is my new favorite green. I inked the middle of the clock with Fuse Green Premium Dye Ink. A little ink got on the numbers too but I didn't worry about it since I was going over the numbers with Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink. The clock hands were stamped with Hot Fudge Premium Dye Ink and I added a rhinestone to the center for a little bling.
Along the bottom of the card I cut a piece of Kraft card stock then used the Plaid Builder Background, stamped with Kraft Premium Dye Ink on the diagonal, to create the striped paper. I love that the plaid builder can be used for more than just plaid because the stamps are all line images. The scalloped piece was cut out using the scallop from Blueprints 6 Die-namics, then I stamped the sentiment from Timeless with the new Whip Cream Pigment Ink.
On the inside of the card I stamped a sentiment from Grand Greetings (you'll hear more about that set another day) with Fuse Green Premium Dye Ink then I added some striped paper to coordinate with the front of the card.
You'll find more information on the MFT Blog, along with a list of today's participating designers.

You know, this immediately reminded me of a clock sitting on a mantle with a long doily under it. I love how the clock pops off the black base.
