Ham it Up, Cutie Pie!

It's time for the Pure Innocence Simple Pleasures VIP collection from My Favorite Things. This is your chance to get new stamps and Die-namics three weeks before they're released!!

Included in the Pure Innocence Simple Pleasures VIP Collection for just $33.95 is:
Pure Innocence Piggy Bank stamp set
Pure Innocence Picture Perfect stamp set
Simple Pleasures Sentiments Mini stamp set (VIP exclusive set - will never again be offered for sale, a $9 value, FREE!)
Lead the Way Die-namics dies

I'll start with my Pure Innocence Piggy Bank card.

Is she not totally adorable?!? The layout I used is the current Guest Designer Contest and there's still time to enter. Read all the details on this thread.

I used papers from the My Mind's Eye Gertie 6x6 paper pad for both cards today. The image was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and what wasn't paper pieced was coloured with copic markers. I used the Rectangle 1 STAX Die-namics to cut out the image. The "Ham it Up!" sentiment is from the Simple Pleasures Sentiments Mini set, which is exclusive to the VIP collection. I used the Mini Tabs Foursome Die-namics to cut out the pink patterned paper tab.

I love the Lead the Way Die-namics...the arrows are so much fun! I cut the long arrow from Hot Fudge card stock and placed it as the vertical element on the left side of the image panel, and I cut another arrow from patterned paper then topped it with a Bubblegum button. I ran a strip of Bubblegum grosgrain ribbon across the scallopy layer which I cut out using the Small Scallop Border Die-namics.

On the inside I combined two of the sentiments from Pure Innocence Piggy Bank and added another arrow from Lead the Way Die-namics.

Now let's move on to my card using Pure Innocence Picture Perfect.

She was also paper pieced and coloured with copic marker. I tried to make the frame look like woodgrain...the straight parts are ok but the corners need a little work. LOL! I used the Rounded Banner STAX Die-namics to cut out the Bubblegum card stock layer then embossed it.

The Simply Scallops Medium Die-namics was perfect to cut out the cream scallop layer across the top and I used the Lead the Way Die-namics to cut out two arrows for the sentiments on the front of the card. Pretty Posies Die-namics was what I chose for the flower embellishment, topped with a Hot Fudge button. I can't get enough of these new MFT buttons!!

On the inside I used the long arrow from Lead the Way Die-namics for another sentiment from Pure Innocence Picture Perfect.

Be sure to hop over to the MFT Blog for a list of participating designers. I know the team has created lots of adorable samples, which makes the Pure Innocence Simple Pleasures VIP Collection totally irresistible!

Here are the Die-namics I used:
