It's time for this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge, SSSC190.
Since it's MFT teaser time I thought I'd entice you with some of the new products on my card today. These new products will be available in the MFT Boutique on August 6th at 10pm EDT, and you can hop over to the MFT Blog for more details.
I went clean and simple on the design with lots and lots of white. I'm loving how fresh this card feels!
I started with a Kraft card base then added a layer of Smooth White. I cut out another panel of Smooth White for the sentiment, which is from the new Grand Greetings set. It's stamped with Kraft Premium Dye Ink and I added a row of piercing below it for a little definition. I also used my corner chomper to chomp the top left corner for a touch of softness.
For the horizontal elements on the sketch I used one of the images from the Plaid Builder Background stamped with Kraft Premium Dye Ink. Then I used the Peek-a-Boo Chevron Die-namics to cut out the Sno Cone chevrons and adhered them in place. You'll notice that I've only used one flower, unlike the sketch which has three flowers. That's because I'm a total spaz when it comes to grouping flowers. I've tried and tried in the past, and I tried again for this card, but I can NOT for the life of me make them look nice. So I used one flower and three leaves. In your face flower grouping! (said with some attitude) LOL! I used the Layered Rose Die-namics to cut out the Brick Red flowers and the Royal Leaves Die-namics to cut out the Fuse Green leaves.
I hope you'll play along with this week's sketch and link your creation on Karen's blog. Now it's time to hop around and see what the rest of the Sweet Sunday Stampers created.
