MFTeaser - Happy Times

Welcome to day two of seven fabulous days of MFT teasers!

Today is all about time with the new Timeless stamp set and the Time Pieces Die-namics, part of the Mona Pendleton Designs line, along with a fun Plaid Builder Background and Pierced Circle STAX Die-namics. All the new products will be available in the MFT Boutique on August 6th at 10pm EDT. Hop over to the MFT Blog for more details!

I created a clean and simple card which highlights the new Fuse Green colour. Love it!!! I started with a Whip Cream card base then used the large rectangle from Blueprints 6 Die-namics to cut out the Hot Fudge layer.

I wanted a square clock and the Pierced Square STAX Die-namics were the perfect choice with the detail around the edges. I cut the clock out of Fuse Green card stock. I think this is my new favorite green. I inked the middle of the clock with Fuse Green Premium Dye Ink. A little ink got on the numbers too but I didn't worry about it since I was going over the numbers with Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink. The clock hands were stamped with Hot Fudge Premium Dye Ink and I added a rhinestone to the center for a little bling.

Along the bottom of the card I cut a piece of Kraft card stock then used the Plaid Builder Background, stamped with Kraft Premium Dye Ink on the diagonal, to create the striped paper. I love that the plaid builder can be used for more than just plaid because the stamps are all line images. The scalloped piece was cut out using the scallop from Blueprints 6 Die-namics, then I stamped the sentiment from Timeless with the new Whip Cream Pigment Ink.

On the inside of the card I stamped a sentiment from Grand Greetings (you'll hear more about that set another day) with Fuse Green Premium Dye Ink then I added some striped paper to coordinate with the front of the card.

You'll find more information on the MFT Blog, along with a list of today's participating designers.

It's time to get sketchy with the MFT Wednesday Stamp Club and sketch 135. Hop over to the MFT Blog to find out how you can play along to win up to $20 to spend at the MFT Boutique.

I created this fun card using à la modes Girl Talk, and I borrowed an idea from Amy for the palette backgound. Thanks Amy!

I started with a Primitive White card base then I added a layer of Natural. I used the Chalkboard Frame Builder Die-namics to cut out the Kraft strips for the "palette" then I stamped them with the woodgrain from Western Backgrounds. I also inked all around the edges of each piece with Kraft Premium Dye Ink before adhering them together. I love this alternative to a frame! I used the Chat Bubbles Die-namics for the sentiment.

I stamped the girl with Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-Press It Blending Card then coloured her with copic markers. I wanted to give her iPhone a fun patterned case so I used the Washi Patterns, stamped with Razzle Berry Premium Dye Ink to paper piece the case.

Along the bottom of the card I added a piece of Orange Fizz then stamped Darling Dots with Orange Fizz Premium Dye Ink. A few brads and a strip of lace finished the card nicely.

Home Sweet Home {MFTWSC134}

It's time to get sketchy with the MFT Wednesday Stamp Club and sketch 134. Hop over to the MFT Blog to find out how you can play along to win up to $20 to spend at the MFT Boutique.

I flipped the sketch just a little because I knew I wanted a blue "sky" at the top, but I kept the embellishments in their original location. Oh, and I turned it into a square card.  :-)

I started with a Whip Cream card base then added layers of Nightshift Blue and Kraft. For the blue sky I cut a piece of Sno Cone then used the Darling Dots stamp set to stamp the dots with Sno Cone Premium Dye Ink.

I used the new Pierced Circle STAX Die-namics (swoon!! LOVE these!) to cut out the Whip Cream circle then I stamped the branch from Homespun Birdhouse using Hot Fudge Premium Dye Ink. I used the Homespun Birdhouse Die-namics to cut out the house and the bird from Nightshift Blue, Kraft and Sno Cone, then I added a piece of Wild Cherry behind the heart opening. I wanted the bird's wing to be patterned so I used the small dots from Washi Patterns stamped with Berrylicious Premium Dye Ink. I added Kraft buttons to the roof for a fun look.

The flower element was created using the Mini Hybrid Heirloom Rose Die-namics. I cut the flower from Wild Cherry felt and backed the bottom layer with Wild Cherry card stock for stability. The leaves were cut from Sour Apple using the Royal Leaves Die-namics.

Here's a shot of the dimension.

On the inside I stamped a sentiment from Homespun Birdhouse with Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink and added a Wild Cherry heart.
