Look Around

Welcome to day four of seven fabulous days of MFT teasers!

You may have already seen some cool projects from other MFT designers, featuring Girly Graphic Tee, but I worked with Vertical Greetings 2 stamps and Die-namics set instead.

The first Vertical Greetings set was super popular and I knew there would be a sequel, so here it is! Vertical Greetings 2 features four more amazing sayings and the Vertical Greetings 2 Die-namics die.

I used SC363 from Splitcoast for the layout, just flipped to fit the saying. The patterned papers are all from the My Mind's Eye Union Square 6x6 pad. I used the Vertical Greetings 2 Die-namics die to cut out three different patterned papers then stamped on one of them and used the others for layering to create a more dimensional focal panel. I also used the new Squiggle Border Die-namics die to cut out the Black Licorice accent on the main panel. But I didn't throw away the negative cut...I used it behind the main panel along the top edge of the black patterned paper. Love it when a die does double duty!!! The flowers were cut out of puff cloud white felt and english toffee felt using the Mini Royal Roses Die-namics. I added a twine bow behind the flowers, which acts as leaves. It's so quick and easy to whip up a card with the Vertical Greetings 2 stamps and Die-namics set!

I love the old-timey feeling that the embossed panel in the background (when combined with your patterned paper, and color scheme, of course) lends to this piece.
