Happy Canada Day!

That's right folks, today, July 1st, is Canada Day! So in honour of my country's birthday, I've created a card using the colours of the Canadian flag...white and red. Ok, so I stamped in black and Stella's hair is brown (really, could you see her with red hair???) but the overall feel screams Canada. I'm Canadian, eh, so this little holiday is a bit lost on me living here in the USA, but I am looking forward to July 4th because I'm adaptable! grin!  :)

The layout is Mojo Monday Sketch #93 and this card also qualifies for the Corrosive Challenge #18 , to make something patriotic. I stamped Birthday Cake with Stella in It from Stamping Bella with Memento Tuxedo Black and coloured her with copics...no elaborate shading here folks. I added some shimmer with a red Spica glitter pen then more bling to the cake with Christmas Red Stickles. The Happy Birthday sentiment is also from Stamping Bella then I used my JustRite Times New Roman Lower Case font to spell out Canada. The words are stamped with black Stazon onto a white acrylic tag. I added a red Bella Bonbon to the tag and two Oyster Bonbons in the corner.
