MFTeaser - Cool Beans

Welcome to day five of seven fabulous days of MFT teasers!

Today the design team is introducing a fun new line called Doodle Garden. The images are adorable and I know you'll love them as much as I do. This month there are three new stamp sets in this line, Doodle Garden Far Out, Doodle Garden Sweet Friend, and Doodle Garden I'm Raptor Round Your Finger. I had good intentions of inking up all three of them for today's post, but I'm under the weather with a nasty cold and it took me all day to make just one card (but I LOVE it!).

I used Doodle Garden Far Out and some fun bright colours. This little darling really reminds me of one of my nieces...she has blonde hair and wears glasses, and I know she's going to love receiving this card in the mail. I started with a card base of Whip Cream then added layers of Orange Fizz and Blu Raspberry cardstock. The patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye A Mother's Love collection, and I added a strip of Orange Fizz grosgrain ribbon to separate the two patterns. The layout is SSS191 from the Sweet Stop Sketch blog.

For the image I stamped her with Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-Press It Blending card then coloured her with copic markers. I added dimension to the image by popping the heart and the flower in her hair on foam tape, and I gave her glasses two coats of clear glaze pen for a glassy look. I used the Rectangle 1 STAX and Rectangle 2 STAX Die-namics to cut out the Whip Cream and Orange Fizz layers then I embossed the orange one with my polka dots embossing folder.

For the flower accent I used the two bottom layers of the new Mini Hybrid Heirloom Rose Die-namics to cut out Orange Fizz felt and orange patterned paper. Then I added a Blu Raspberry button tied with Hemp Cord.

On the inside I simply stamped the girl with Memento Tangelo ink and added a sentiment from the set, stamped with the new MFT Black Licorice ink. I still use Memento Tuxedo Black to stamp images that I'll be colouring with copic markers, but the Black Licorice ink is my new "go to" for any other black stamping. The coverage of the new MFT ink is amazing!!

MFTeaser - Sweet Treats

Welcome to day four of seven fabulous days of MFT teasers!

Today my post is all about the new Lollipop Additions - Love stamp set. It's the cutest way to create fun little lollipop favours for Valentine treats, but I also used the set to make a card.

I'll start with the lollipop treats. The stamps are all from the Lollipop Additions - Love set and they coordinate perfectly with the previously released Lollipop Treat Die-namics. I cut the base from Whip Cream cardstock then started decorating with Pink Lemonade, Wild Cherry and Kraft cardstocks. I used the new Kraft ink, along with Razzle Berry ink (stamped off once so it would be lighter), Wild Cherry ink and the new Black Licorice ink. The "xo" were cut from Pink Lemonade cardstock using By the Letters Die-namics.

Next I have a coordinating card I created using Lollipop Additions - Love and the gorgeous new Heart Doily Die-namics.

I kept the layout on this square card nice and simple to allow the Heart Doily Die-namics to shine, and I think it's the perfect backdrop for the smaller sentiments in Lollipop Additions - Love.

The card base is Whip Cream, then I added a layer of Kraft and Wild Cherry cardstocks. Next I chose the blue polka dot paper from the Carta Bella Devoted paper pad and stitched the four squares into place. I used the Heart Doily Die-namics to cut out the Kraft doily then added the stamped elements from Lollipop Additions - Love. The smaller shapes were cut out using the coordinating Lollipop Treat Die-namics and I added a Sno Cone button tied with Hemp Cord.

On the inside I stamped "Be Mine" with MFT Black Licorice ink then added the chevron stamp with MFT Wild Cherry ink.

MFTeaser - Time Flies

Welcome to day three of seven fabulous days of MFT teasers!

Today I'm sharing a pretty card I made using the new Inspired by Time set. The images in this set have the shading built into them so they're super quick and easy to colour.

I started with a card base of Kraft cardstock then added a layer of Nightshift Blue and a layer of Whip Cream. The pretty patterned paper is from the Carta Bella Traditions collection and I used the mirror image of DS82 for the layout.

I stamped the image onto Whip Cream cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black and coloured it with copic markers. I knew I wasn't going to do a whole lot of blending so I didn't feel the need to use X-Press It Blending card. I inked all the edges of the Whip Cream layers with Antique Linen distress ink.

I added a strip of Kraft grosgrain ribbon for the horizontal element and used the Accent It - Labels and Tags Die-namics to cut out the patterned paper for the sentiment.

I used the gorgeous new Mini Hybrid Heirloom Rose Die-namics to cut out Kraft cardstock and assembled this beauty, adding a pearl to the center. The new Leaf-Filled Flourish Die-namics was perfect to cut out the patterned paper flourish. I adore the mix of leaves and swirls on this new flourish.

On the inside I stamped another sentiment from Inspired by Time.
