Sweet Sunday Sympathy

It's time for this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge, SSSC228.

As you can tell from the title of my post, I needed a sympathy card recently. This is the one type of card that I don't make in advance or keep in my stash...it just seems like bad karma to me. Of course that means I'm scrambling whenever I need one, but I'm ok with that.

I chose the muted colour palette in the Fancy Pants Country Boutique paper pad and added my favourite sentiment from MFT's Clearly Sentimental about Sympathy.

I added some kraft and black card stock and used natural for the main circle. The corrugated cardboard heart with a whip cream button was a perfect accent to tie in the heart background paper.

I hope you'll play along with this week's sketch and link your creation on Karen's blog. Now it's time to hop around and see what the rest of the Sweet Sunday Stampers created.

So pretty, love the corrugated heart. I am with you about the sympathy cards, I generally only make them when I need one or have a request for one. Happy Sunday my sweet friend!

Love the papers you chose and how you divided the heart I to two sections

these are never fun to make, but your card sure is beautiful. It will surely help comfort.

This is so elegant Karen. I really love the corrugated heart! So sorry you needed to make a card like this...I don't keep a stash of these as well, for the same reason!
