Believe

I have another Christmas card to share today, using Seasonal Sentiments from My Favorite Things. When I told you a few posts ago that I can't seem to stop using this set, I really meant it! It quickly became my favourite stamp set for holiday cards.

I used Merry Monday #42 for the layout and CTD218 for the colour combo. I {heart} these colours for a holiday card, but then I'm a sucker for non-traditional holiday colour combos. I used the Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics and the Fishtail Flags Layers STAX Die-namics to cut out the five flags from Sno Cone and Blue Raspberry cardstock. The base layers are Kraft and Hot Fudge, and I ran the Kraft layer through my modern wallpaper embossing folder before stitching the layers together.

For the sentiment I stamped it twice onto Whip Cream cardstock, once with Versamagic Turquoise Gem and once with Versamagic Gingerbread, then I cut out the turquoise banner and adhered it with foam tape for a little dimension. I used the smallest flake from Let it Snowflake Die-namics for the accent, topped with a clear rhinestone. I kept this card nice and flat for mailing.

On the inside I simply layered some cardstock and stamped another sentiment from Seasonal Sentiments.

Happy Black Friday shopping!!!

Here are the supplies I used.
