MFTeaser - You Sparkle

Welcome to day five of seven fabulous days of MFT teasers!

It's à la modes day and I have a colourful card to share using à la modes You Shine. This is card #40 for Project Christmas 2012. Yay!

I started by stamping the image with Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-Press It blending card then I coloured it with copic markers. I cut out the image with the Oval 1 STAX Die-namics and used the Oval 2 STAX Die-namics to cut out the Razzle Berry cardstock layer.

Here's a detail shot of the coating of glossy accents I added to the bulbs to make them shine.

I used the Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics to cut out the green polka dot flat and the Mini Monarch Border Die-namics was perfect to cut out the Sno Cone accent along the bottom of the striped layer. The patterned papers are from the Carta Bella Merry & Bright collection and the card base is Sweet Tooth. I finished the card with three Sno Cone buttons tied with Hemp Cord.

On the inside I repeated the flag element and stamped her again with Memento Summer Sky. I added the sentiment in black ink.
