The November New Product Launch at My Favorite Things was this past Tuesday and the design team has even more inspiration to share using the new products. Hop over to the MFT Blog for a list of today's participating designers.
I couldn't resist using Pure Innocence Warm Winter to create this fun winter scene. It reminds me of snowball fights and snow fort building with my brothers when we were little.
I started with a Sweet Tooth card base then added a layer of Sno Cone. I used one of the smaller snowflakes from Sophisticated Snowflakes, stamped with Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink, to add the look of falling snow. The Snow Drifts Die-namics were absolutely perfect for cutting out the snowy hills.
For the girl on the right I stamped Pure Innocence Warm Winter with Memento Tuxedo black onto X-Press It Blending Card and coloured her with copic markers. I fussy cut her and mounted her on foam tape for dimension.
Then I set to work on the snow fort and the other girl. I used the snowball trio from Doodle Garden You're the Coolest and stamped it repeatedly to create the "wall". Then I searched through my Pure Innocence stamps to find the perfect friend for my scene. I used Pure Innocence Snow Day because I love her hat and the fact that she's carrying an arm full of snowballs is perfect!!! I like to think that she's stockpiling her stash behind the snow fort wall. The sentiment from Pure Innocence Warm Wishes was stamped with Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink.
On the inside I stamped another sentiment from Pure Innocence Warm Wishes and stamped the girl again using Razzle Berry Premium Dye Ink.
Here are the supplies I used:
