You've waited so patiently while the MFT Design Team counted down through seven days of teasers for all the New November Products. It's now time to shop!!! You'll find all the new products in the Brand New section of the MFT Boutique.
Tonight we have even more inspiration for you, with a recap of all the new stamp sets from the November New Product Launch. And there are prizes too…EACH designer has a $10 gift certificate to the MFT Boutique for one random commenter, so be sure to leave some love as you hop around.
I worked with Banner Greetings. It's full of greetings for so many occasions!
For my first card I paired Banner Greetings with Pure Innocence It's a Sign to create a sweet birthday card.
I started with a Sweet Tooth card base then added a layer of the new Safety Orange card stock. Along the bottom of the card I used a piece of Blu Raspberry and stamped it with the new Striped Backgrounds using Blu Raspberry Premium Dye Ink.
For the sentiment I used the Banner Greetings Die-namics to cut out some Smooth White then I stamped the sentiment from Banner Greetings using Blu Raspberry Premium Dye Ink. I mounted it on foam tape for dimension.
For the girl I stamped her with Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-Press It Blending Card and coloured her with copic markers. I fussy cut around her and backed her with some Steel Grey, which I cut out using the Pierced Rectangle STAX Die-namics. I added a Safety Orange button tied with Hemp Cord to finish it off.
On the inside I stamped a sentiment from Birthday Greetings. It's so fun to be able to combine different stamp sets together.
**********
My next card also combines stamp sets, Banner Greetings and Clearly Sentimental about Anniversaries.
I started with a Sweet Tooth card base again then added a layer of Pink Lemonade. I used the new Woodgrain Background stamped with Pink Lemonade Premium Dye Ink to add pattern to the background layer.
I used the Banner Greetings Die-namics to cut out the Chocolate card stock (another new colour) and stamped the sentiment from Banner Greetings with Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink. I wanted it to have a little extra dimension though so I stamped it again onto another piece of Chocolate and cut out the sentiment part then popped it on foam tape.
Here's a shot of the dimension.
I used the new Pierced Oval STAX Die-namics to cut out the Kraft oval then stamped the sentiment using Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink.
The gorgeous flower is the new Hybrid Camellia Flower Die-namics. There are three parts to the flower but for my bloom I only used two parts to keep it a little smaller. I cut the flower from Berrylicious card stock and added a pearl to the center. The leaves were cut from Sour Apple and Jellybean Green using the new Layered Leaves Die-namics.
On the inside of the card I stamped another sentiment from Clearly Sentimental about Anniversaries and added a Pink Lemonade border which I cut out using the Faux Crochet Border Die-namics.
Be sure to hop over to the MFT Blog for a list of participating designers and don't forget to comment as you hop around, for a chance to with a $10 gift Certificate to the MFT Boutique.
