I worked with the fabulous Birthday Sentiments stamp set...love it! I created three cards and one little box, and I gravitated to masculine projects because, well, I don't know about you, but guy cards are always a little more difficult to create. Really men (and boys) why can't you love flowers as much as girls do?!?
I'll start with this cute little scene. Birthday Sentiments is full of graphic, big sentiments, but I wanted to show you how the small sentiments in the set can shine too.
I started with a Sweet Tooth card base then added a layer of Sno Cone card stock. I built my scene on square of Kraft backed with Orange Fizz. I used the Picket Fence Die-namics to cut out the white picket fence then used the Grassy Edges Die-namics to cut out the Factory Green grass.
I used the balloon and puppy stamps from the new Cupcake Cutie stamp set for the main elements. I stamped them with Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-Press It Blending Card then coloured them with copic markers. I tied the balloon to the fence with Hemp Cord. Then I added the sentiment to the balloon, stamping it with Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink. I popped the balloon and puppy on foam tape for dimension.
On the inside I stamped another sentiment from Birthday Sentiments using the new Orange Fizz Premium Dye Ink and added the puppy with Kraft Premium Dye Ink.

Next I have a coordinating card and gift box duo.
I kept the card layout very clean and simple for this masculine birthday card, using bright colours for a fun feel. I used Sweet Tooth card stock for the base then added a layer of Lemon Drop for a pop of colour.
For the main white panel I used the new Smooth White card stock because it's a wonderfully smooth surface for stamping solid images. I used Sour Apple Premium Dye Ink and Lemon Drop Premium Dye Ink to stamp two of the images from Border It - Mod Borders then stamped the arrows from Document It-Right This Way using Blu Raspberry Premium Dye Ink.
I stamped the sentiment from Birthday Sentiments with Lemon Drop Premium Dye Ink onto Smooth White card stock then used the Circle 1 STAX and Circle 2 STAX Die-namics to cut out the white and Blu Raspberry layers. The white square seemed a little plain so I added a black border using a copic multiliner and a ruler. To finish the front I wrapped a few strands of Hemp Cord then tied a Sour Apple button.
Now for the gift box. I placed an iTunes card in mine, but you could also fill it with sweet treats.
I used the Scalloped Treat Box Die-namics to cut out the Smooth White box. Before folding it I stamped the sentiment with Lemon Drop Premium Dye Ink. I stamped the same sentiment again with Blu Raspberry Premium Dye Ink and cut out the banner, then popped it on foam tape.
Along the bottom of the box I stamped one of the Border It - Mod Borders using Sour Apple Premium Dye Ink and added a strip of Blu Raspberry card stock. I finished it with some Hemp Cord and a Sour Apple button.

After all this masculinity, I just had to squeeze in one feminine card.
This time I paired Birthday Sentiments with Sweet Roses. I started with a Sweet Tooth card base then added a layer of Kraft and another layer of Sweet Tooth. I stamped the outline rose with Pink Lemonade Premium Dye Ink to create the background paper.
I used the Gift Card Pocket-Vertical Die-namics to create the focal point and stamped the sentiment with Hot Fudge Premium Dye Ink. I added a Pink Lemonade flag, cut out using the Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics. I also used the Open Simply Scallops Trio Die-namics to cut out the Hot Fudge border and tucked it alongside a strip of Pink Lemonade grosgrain ribbon.
I had fun creating the flower using the Roses and Leaves Die-namics along with the Sweet Roses stamp set. I cut out the flowers from Pink Lemonade and Sweet Tooth card stock and the leaves from Factory Green. I stamped the flowers with Pink Lemonade Premium Dye Ink and added glitter to the top layer. The leaves were stamped with Factory Green Premium Dye Ink. I finished the flower with a Pink Lemonade button tied with Hemp Cord.
On the inside I stamped another sentiment from Birthday Sentiments with Pink Lemonade and Hot Fudge Premium Dye Inks. I used the smallest size of the Open Simply Scallops Trio Die-namics to cut out the Kraft scallop.
