I love this sketch with the big focal panel, perfect for so many images. I chose to use the new Doodle Garden - I'm Raptor Round Your Finger.
I started with a card base of Whip Cream then added a layer of Kraft. The patterned papers are from the Bo Bunny Love Letters collection. I added two strips of Kraft grosgrain ribbon for the slanted accents.
For the focal panel I used the Oval 1 STAX and Oval 2 STAX Die-namics to cut out the patterned paper and Whip Cream layers. Then I stamped the image onto X-Press It Blending Card using Memento Tuxedo Black. I coloured it with copic markers then fussy cut around the image. I popped it on foam tape for a little dimension.
For the sentiment accent I used the Sentiment Strips Die-namics to cut out a Whip Cream flag then stamped the sentiment with MFT Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink. The little heart accent is from the Layered Heart Border Die-namics, cut out of Wild Cherry cardstock and covered with Star Dust Stickles. It's actually a leftover piece from the accent on the inside of my card.
On the inside I stamped the image again with MFT Kraft Premium Dye Ink and added another sentiment with MFT Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink. I used the Layered Heart Border Die-namics to create the accent from Wild Cherry and Blu Raspberry card stocks.
There's a prize each week for one participant, chosen at random. You may use any stamps and supplies that you wish. Each week a keyword is assigned to the sketch, and this week's keyword is MFTWSC107. All you need to do to enter is upload your card to the gallery at Splitcoast and enter the given keyword in the keyword box during the upload process. After the deadline (noon Eastern on Tuesday) we randomly choose a winner from that week's entries and the winner will receive a $15 gift voucher.
