Welcome to day four of the MFT November Release Countdown!
I have a pretty poinsettia card to share today using the new Inspired By Holiday Botanicals stamp set. It's card number 30 for Project Christmas 2013. The November Product Launch is on November 12th at 10pm EST in the MFT Boutique.
I started with a Sweet Tooth card base then added a layer of Wild Cherry. I used the Pierced Square STAX Die-namics to cut out the Kraft square for the flower and backed it with Sweet Tooth to make it pop.
The flower was so fun to create and it has so much dimension! I stamped the flower four times with Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-Press It Blending Card then I coloured it with copic markers. I cut out each of the flowers, creating smaller and smaller layers and adhering them together with foam tape for plenty of dimension.
Here's a shot of all the dimension. It makes me so happy! :-)
Here's a shot of the four flower layers before I adhered them together with foam tape. It looks finicky to cut out but it really wasn't difficult at all.
Along the bottom of the card I added a layer of the new Chocolate Brown card stock and used the Large Scale Backgrounds stamped with Hot Fudge Premium Dye Ink to add the polka dots. I used the Scallop Ribbon Die-namics to cut out the Sweet Tooth scallop.
On the inside I stamped another image from Inspired By Holiday Botanicals using Kraft Premium Dye Ink and added the sentiment with Wild Cherry Premium Dye Ink.
Be sure to hop over to the MFT Blog for a list of today's participating designers and for the amazing prize info!
