It's time for this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge, SSSC195.
This sketch is absolutely perfect in it's simplicity! It lends itself to just about any card you can imagine.
I went with a Christmas card, number 26 for Project Christmas 2013. I created almost the entire card with Die-namics and very little stamping.
I started with a Sweet Tooth card base then added a layer of Kraft. I used the dots from Large Scale Backgrounds, stamped with Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink, for the "patterned paper".
For the focal point I built the scene on some Sno Cone. I used the Tree Lines Die-namics to cut out the Sweet Tooth snowy hill, then I dove into putting together this fun little snowman from Snow Globe Die-namics. He was cut from Sweet Tooth and I used Steel Grey, Kraft, and Electric Red for the other elements. His carrot nose is a sweet tooth piece coloured with an orange copic marker. I popped him on foam tape for dimension. The sentiment is from Snowflake Splendor and I stamped it with Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink.
I used the Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics to cut out the Steel Grey flag and topped it with an Electric Red button tied with Hemp Cord.
I hope you'll play along with this week's sketch and link your creation on Karen's blog. Now it's time to hop around and see what the rest of the Sweet Sunday Stampers created.
