Sweet Sunday Birthday

It's time for this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge, SSSC188.

Don't forget that our two new design team members, Jodi and Lisa, are jumping in this week. You'll find them in my link list below, and I know they'll have something delightful to share using this week's sketch.

I made a sweet birthday card to add to my stash, using some brand new, not even released yet, but will be available on July 9th, supplies from My Favorite Things.

I started with a Sweet Tooth card base then added layers of Sno Cone and Kraft. I stamped the sentiment from the new Birthday Greetings with Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink directly onto polka dot patterned paper from the My Mind's Eye Lavender collection. I stitched the sentiment onto a layer of Lemon Drop.

For the horizontal strip I used the Washi Patterns stamp set to add the stripes with Bubblegum Premium Dye Ink. Then I used the border and flowers from Blueprints 5 Die-namics to cut out the Berrylicious and Bubblegum accents. I finished it with a Kraft button tied with Hemp Cord.

On the inside I stamped another sentiment from the fabulous Birthday Greetings stamp set. Love it!!!

I hope you'll play along with this week's sketch and link your creation on Karen's blog. Now it's time to hop around and see what the rest of the Sweet Sunday Stampers created.
