MFTeaser - Overdue

Welcome to day two of seven fabulous days of MFT teasers!

Today I used two new stamp sets from Laina Lamb Design, Journal It - Library Card and Document It - Right this Way, to create this fun, masculine, unconventional, belated birthday card. There's also a coordinating Insert It - 3x4 Pocket Die-namics that I've used on my card.

I started with a card base of Sweet Tooth then added a layer of Kraft cardstock. The patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye Out of the Blue collection. I added a Red Hot flag in the background using the Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics.

For the focal point of the card I used the previously released Insert It - 3x4 Insert Die-namics to cut out the navy rectangle, and also for the Sweet Tooth library card. I stamped the library card with Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink. I cut the Kraft pocket using the Insert It - 3x4 Pocket Die-namics then stamped "check it out" from Document It - Right this Way using Kraft Premium Dye Ink. I used one of the arrows from Lead the Way Die-namics to cut out the blue patterned arrow then used the new Button Border Die-namics to cut out the yellow button. I tied it with Hemp Cord.

I had fun adding all the elements to the library card. I stamped elements from both Journal It - Library Card and Document It - Right this Way using Kraft Premium Dye Ink, Wild Cherry Premium Dye Ink, and Sno Cone Premium Dye Ink. The "happy birthday" sentiment is from the Let's Toast stamp set and I used Memento Nautical Blue ink to stamp it onto the library card.

On the inside I added another sentiment from Let's Toast using Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink, and stamped a few more elements from Document It - Right this Way.
