There's lots to see on the MFT design team blogs today and I've created a couple of elegant cards using two of the sentiments from Vertical Greetings.

I used FTL174 from the Clean & Simple blog for the layout...it just seemed so perfect for this sentiment!! I used the new Monarch Border die-namic and cut out the pink strip along the left edge of the sentiment panel but I tucked it pretty far under so just the circles show. Then I added some pearl accents. The patterned papers are from the Glitz Pretty in Pink 6" paper pack.

I created the heart accent with three different Die-namics: hearts a plenty, homespun birdhouse, and button quartet. The scalloped heart was cut from corrugated cardboard and the pink heart was cut from strawberry ice cream felt. I need to use the button die-namics more often because they add the perfect touch without adding more bulk, which means the card is still easy to mail!

On this next card I started out on a more masculine path but I couldn't resist adding the gorgeous kraft flower and sparkly rhinestone brad.

For the sentiment panel I cut out patterned paper from the My Mind's Eye Breeze paper pack using the clearly sentimental label Die-namics. I added the chocolate brown detail using the Monarch Border Die-namics and wrapped some cappuccino twine for a little texture. The flower was cut out using the prima donna petals Die-namics, cut from kraft card stock.

Here are the Die-namics I used:

Thanks for stopping by!
