It's the first day of sneak peeks for Taylored Expressions and we're starting the new year off with two beautiful stamp sets and coordinating dies. As you hop around today you'll see samples using New Beginnings (the set I've used) and Rest & Renewal. New Beginnings has coordinating butterfly dies and a coordinating Frame It Up die 1. And, all the sentiments in both sets are designed to fit inside the Frame It Up Die 1!! All the new products will be available in the TE Store on Friday, January 7th from 8am PST.
I was going for a more elegant look so I reached for my Restoration Collection patterned papers by Crate Paper. The Sweet Stop Sketch #88 was a perfect layout for the gorgeous new Frame It Up Die 1. I started by stamping the frame outline with Memento Rich Cocoa onto woodgrain paper then I cut it out with the Frame It Up Die 1. Don't you just love the curves on this new die? And the shape is large enough to accommodate all kinds of images and sentiments! Then I used my stamp-a-majig to center the sentiment, which reads "If you can dream it - you can do it. Walt Disney". I love love LOVE that quote!!!
Then I moved on to the outline flower and stamped it with Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream. I coloured it with copic markers before cutting it out and adding a little starfire glitter. I paired the rose with my leafy branch die from a previous release and used my circles impression plate on the strip of blue for a little texture. Finally I added clear rhinestones to the small scallop border die cut piece of rose cardstock.
Now it's time to hop over to see what the rest of the Baker's Dozen created with these gorgeous new stamp sets and dies.
