Gossiping Bella

Happy Bellarific Friday!!! This week was a colour challenge...pink, orange and turquoise. Hmmm...I think I've discovered that colour challenges are my least favourite type of challenge. Oh well, I persevered and created a card with my fun Gossipabella (which includes the sentiment) from Stamping Bella.
This will likely be me later today as I chat with my Mom and wish her happy birthday! My family all got together last weekend to celebrate...sometimes it's a bummer living so far away from everyone. Holy I sound like Debbie Downer today...sorry 'bout that...didn't mean to...let me pick it up a little.   :)

I stamped Gossipabella with Memento Tuxedo Black onto Bella's Bestest Paper and coloured her with copics. Then I cut her out with Labels Nine nestabilities and pierced around the edge. When I pierce odd shapes like this I simply leave the nesties in place and use the inside edge as a guide for placing my holes. The spacing between holes is completely eye-balled. Just make sure when you're piercing like this to hold onto both the nesties and the image so it doesn't slip...ask me how I know...wink!

For the sentiment I simply stamped it onto a scrap of pink pirouette then cut it up into pieces to fit in the open space on the image panel. I used my big Coluzzle circle to cut out the orange polka dot paper since none of my nesties were large enough. Then I layered some baja blue and stitched it to more pink, then adhered it all to the white card base. I debated placing ribbon somewhere but it just wasn't looking right to me so I opted for pink Glitter Dots instead.

Next week's Bellarific Challenge is a Winter/Winter Sports theme in celebration of the Olympics. Go team Go!!! Email your submissions to Em by Thursday night to be included in next Friday's round-up. You could win Bella Bucks just for playing in the challenge!

Now let's hop over to Bloggabella and see the rest of this week's submissions. Don't forget to comment while you're there for a chance to win some Bella Bucks.

Thanks for stopping by!
