It's time for this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge, SSSC239.
I have a super fun thank you card this week. The Mini Cooper dealer here has adopted me into their family after our move so I wanted to thank them for their kindness. They gave me a fantastic "Welcome to Texas" gift.
I really wanted to use an image of a Mini Cooper but I could only find a couple of digital images online and none of them were really what I was looking for. So I decided to recreate the logo instead. I'm not sure if you can see it in the photo but I even created the shadows below each horizontal line, using Steel Grey. The logo was done with Grout Grey and Basic Black.
I added shine to the letters using two coats of my clear glaze pen. The checkered background paper, which is so perfect for the motoring Mini theme, is from the Carta Bella Boy Oh Boy collection.
I hope you'll play along with this week's sketch and link your creation on Karen's blog. Now it's time to hop around and see what the rest of the Sweet Sunday Stampers created.
