It's time for this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge, SSSC223.
I made a Christmas card with today's sketch, bringing my total to 6 cards for Project Christmas 2014. Yikes!! That's only one a month, not one a week like I'd planned. But, on the bright side, at least I have 6 made already, right?
I used the gorgeous Poinsettia Die-namics from My Favorite Things, and I know I've used it often in the past but I really love the detail. The smaller flower is the one I used here and it's the perfect size for this week's sketch.
I added a piece of lace for a vintage feel and stamped the sentiment using Steel Grey instead of stark black.
I hope you'll play along with this week's sketch and link your creation on Karen's Blog. Now it's time to hop around and see what the rest of the Sweet Sunday Stampers created.

So pretty! Love all the detail on the poinsettia and the corduroy button at the center.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous Karen, I love that poinsettia and the crochet ribbon!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is so sweet, Karen. I love that Poinsettia die on your card. You are 6 cards ahead of me! :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Belated Birthday!
Six is better than my ZERO,!! I love it. The crochet ribbon is great with that giant poinsettia. Festive and fab.
ReplyDeleteHey this looks familiar!😉 What has happened to us this year? We are both so far behind in Christmas card making! 😳
ReplyDeleteOOOO, I love this one!
