MFT December Release Countdown - Close-Knit

It's time to count down to the December Release with My Favorite Things. Today is day 7!

Hop over to the MFT Blog for all the new product info and for a list of participating designers. There's also a fabulous prize giveaway that you really won't want to miss!!!

I used the new Pure Innocence Close-Knit to create a fun friendship card. I started with a Sweet Tooth card base then used the new Blueprints 10 Die-namics to cut out the Natural layer. In fact, all the elements on my card were cut out using the Blueprints 10 Die-namics.

I stamped the image onto X-Press It Blending Card and coloured it with copic markers. The image panel was a little too long for my liking though so I placed it back into the die from Blueprints 10 Die-namics and ran it through my vagabond to trim it down to size. Here's a shot of how I placed the die in case you're a visual person.

I cut a piece of Blu Raspberry for the bottom of the card and stamped the sentiment from Pure Innocence Close-Knit using Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink.

The Natural background layer was stamped with the dots from Large Scale Backgrounds using the new Natural Premium Dye Ink. Love this soft, natural (sorry, I couldn't think of another descriptor...LOL!) colour of ink!! The heart accent was cut out using an element from Blueprints 10 Die-namics and both Grape Jelly and Grapesicle card stock. Then I added Stickles to the heart for a little sparkle.

Here are the supplies I used:
