Crafty Friends {MFTWSC132}

It's time to get sketchy with the MFT Wednesday Stamp Club and sketch 132. Hop over to the MFT Blog to find out how you can play along for a chance to win up to $20 to spend at the MFT Boutique.

I'm loving the blue, green and purple colour combination lately so I ran with it on my card today, and I used the brand new Pure Innocence Crafty Friends stamp set.

I started with a Sweet Tooth card base then added layers of Grape Jelly and Sno Cone. I added a smaller piece of Sour Apple behind the image panel and tucked a loop of Grape Jelly grosgrain ribbon for a little colour contrast.

I used the Insert It - Instaframe Die-namics to cut out the Kraft frame and I used it again to cut out the X-Press It Blending Card for the image. I stamped the image from Pure Innocence Crafty Friends with Memento Tuxedo Black and coloured her with copic markers. I made my own patterned paper for her shirt by stamping the small zig zag from Washi Patterns with Grape Jelly Premium Dye Ink onto Sno Cone card stock. Then I stamped the image again right over top of the pattern and cut out her shirt. I used the Darling Dots stamped with Kraft Premium Dye Ink for the dots on the frame.

Along the bottom of the card I used the Jumbo Mod Borders, stamped with white chalk ink, to jazz up the Blu Raspberry layer. Then I cut out the Grape Jelly strip with the Mini Double Dot Die-namics.

On the inside I stamped a sentiment from Pure Innocence Crafty Friends with Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink and used the same triangle pattern as on the front of the card, stamped with Grape Jelly Premium Dye Ink.

  3. How sweet and love the little ribbon tab at the top. Now if only Christal were a stamper that would be a perfect card for her - what with all the purple :)
