Make a Wish {MFTWSC122}

It's time to get sketchy with the MFT Wednesday Stamp Club and sketch 122.

I used the brand new Pure Innocence Make a Wish stamp set, which will be available on May 7th at 10pm EST. Because she's facing towards the left I used the mirror image of the sketch so she'd be looking into the center of the card.

I started with a 5 1/4" square card base of Sweet Tooth then added a layer of Black Licorice and a layer of Kraft. The patterned papers are from the Fancy Pants Park Bench collection.

I stamped the girl with Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-Press It Blending Card then coloured her with copic markers. I paper pieced her dress with two contrasting patterns. I used the Circle 1 STAX Die-namics to cut out the Sno Cone circle then I stamped the girl again onto the circle to get the dandelion puffs. I fussy cut around her and adhered her to the circle.

For the horizontal element I used the Scallop Ribbon Die-namics to cut out a strip of Black Licorice then adhered a thin piece of patterned paper along the center.

The sentiment was fun to create using a small size of the Circle 1 STAX Die-namics and Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink. I placed the sentiment on a flower which I cut out using the Perfect Petal Trio Die-namics. I added a loopy Hemp Cord bow behind the flower to help it stand out a little.

On the inside I stamped another sentiment from Pure Innocence Make a Wish.

Here are all the sketchy details:

There's a prize each week for one participant, chosen at random. You may use any stamps and supplies that you wish. This week's keyword is MFTWSC122. All you need to do to enter is upload your card to the gallery at Splitcoast and enter the keyword in the keyword box during the upload process.
