I've gone a little country today and created two western themed cards. In this first card I used the new Inspired by the Wild Wild West stamp set.
I started with a Whip Cream card base, then added a layer of Kraft. The sentiment is stamped onto Natural cardstock then I coloured it with copic markers. The images in the Inspired By line have the shading built into them so they're super easy to colour, although I did use a ton of markers...sorry! I didn't do any blending though, only shading according to the image.
I pictured this cowboy riding in the background with a fence in the foreground so I used the new Barbed Wire Fence Die-namics to cut out the fence from Hot Fudge (for the posts) and Steel Grey (for the wire). I wanted the wire to have a bit of shine though so I coloured over it with my Sakura Gelly Roll glitter pen.
For the Howdy sentiment I used the previously released Howdy Frames Die-namics to cut out the arrow then attached it with two brads.
On the inside I used the new Western Sentiments to turn this into a get well / feel better card. The sentiment was stamped with Kraft Premium Dye Ink.

I've used the new Triple Scoop set for this month, Western Sentiments, for my second card today. In case you don't already know, the Triple Scoop set changes with each release and you'll receive it FREE with a qualifying $60 order. Yay!
I used DS85 for the layout and kept everything pretty simple to let the sentiment shine. I started with a card base of Whip Cream cardstock then added a layer of Kraft. I chose starry patterned paper from the October Afternoon Campfire collection.
For the sentiment, I inked the top half with Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink and the bottom half with Kraft Premium Dye Ink, then stamped it onto Whip Cream card stock.
For the accents I used the Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics to cut out the Wild Cherry flag, then I used the new Button Border Die-namics to cut out the button accents from patterned paper. I added some Hemp Cord to tie up the buttons.
