Today I'm sharing a Christmas card I made using the new Stitched Stockings which is part of the Lisa Johnson Designs line for MFT. This is card #39 for Project Christmas 2012, and I used a variation of the layout DS75.
I used the coordinating Stocking Trio Die-namics to cut out the Kraft cardstock then stamped the stocking with the new Wild Cherry ink from MFT. It's a dye ink that gives wonderful coverage on solid images...love! I added three Jellybean Green buttons tied with Hemp Cord. The background layer is Whip Cream and I embossed it with the Geometric Circles embossing folder then stitched it to a layer of Jellybean Green cardstock.
I used the Simply Scallops Medium Die-namics to cut out the patterned paper, which is from the Simple Stories Handmade Holidays collection. The new Dainty Bows Die-namics was perfect for cutting out the Jellygreen Bean felt. I used my detail glue gun to assemble the bow and it was a snap!
On the inside I stamped another sentiment from the set and added a strip of patterned paper.
