MFT Release Time - A True Friend

It's release time at the MFT Boutique! You'll find all the new stamps, Die-namics, and new buttons too, in the Brand Spankin' New section.

And in case you need  a little more inspiration, the design team has a recap of all the new stamp sets. Be sure to hop over to the MFT blog for a list of participating designer. Have fun! Oooh, and don't forget to comment as you hop around because there's BLOG CANDY (a $50 voucher to the MFT Boutique) hidden along the way!!!

I worked with My Favorite Sentiments and created this feminine card for a friend. My Favorite Sentiments is being offered at the bargain price of just $6 from July 3rd through July 31st in honour of MFT's 6th birthday!!! This set is a $17.95 value! The stamp set is a graphic collection of sentiments, inspired by you, our valued MFT fans! One set per customer please, while quantities last, no rain checks.

I recently purchased some Versamagic Dew Drops and the coverage on these bolder, more solid images is amazing! I actually gasped when I removed the stamp and the image was so perfect!! You just have to remember to give the image a few minutes to dry, but the result is totally worth it! I used the  Designer Labels 3 STAX Die-namics to cut out the plaid patterned paper (from the My Mind's Eye Dolled Up paper pad), and used the Circle 2 STAX die-namics to layer both on top and underneath. The two shades of ink I used for the sentiment are Ocean Depth and Pink Grapefruit.

I used the Jumbo Squiggle Border Die-namics to cut out the polka dot strip in the background and added some rhinestone flourishes. The card seemed to need just a little more so I used the banner from Airplane Greetings Die-namics to cut out the gingham paper and the wide banner from First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics to cut out the gold banner. Then I topped it with a corrugated heart which I cut out with the Hearts a Plenty Die-namics and a teal button.

On the inside I stamped another sentiment from My Favorite Sentiments, and used a negative cut from the Jumbo Squiggle Border Die-namics. The tiny heart is from the Notched Tag Die-namics.

Happy shopping!!!

Here are the Die-namics I used:
