My card today is quite fitting. I used the new Umbrella stamps and Die-namics set and I was creating this card yesterday as we were under a severe storm and tornado watch. If you know me, you know I'm a total weather wimp...it scares me! But luckily my BFF Dana knows me all too well and stayed on the phone with me for a couple of hours during the height of the storms. She basically kept me sane...thank you for being my rainbow! Thankfully we were spared from the worst weather, but my thoughts go out to everyone who was affected by the severe storms and tornados the past few days.

So I made this card in honour of our friendship. The Umbrella Die-namics die is so fun with the different layers. I cut it out of patterned paper from the Paisley Road paper stack and layered the panels onto Hot Fudge card stock. The large circular pink layer was cut out using my Coluzzle (had to blow the dust off of it first) and Razzle Berry card stock. I cut out the orange oval using the Oval STAX set 1 Die-namics. The layout is FTL177 from the Clean & Simple blog.
I added heart accents to both the front and inside of the card using the Hearts a Plenty Die-namics to cut out English Toffee and Blue Skies felt.
The sentiment on the inside could really be changed to "during" the storm in my case, LOL! I used the Rainbow Die-namics to create the bit of rainbow falling into the heart shaped clouds.
