The design team is full of ideas for this month's release and I have a fun little card to share, along with a video with tips and ideas for assembling the Ring Me Die-namics.

I adore this set with the old-fashioned die cut telephone!!! I remember these telephones well...the receivers on the ones at my parents' house were so heavy! I swear you could use them to exercise with. And to be tethered with a cord to the phone in one spot in the house...the horror!!! But we didn't know any better back then. LOL!!

For the number dial, I punched out a 1 3/8" circle of cream and adhered it to the back of the patterned paper so that I could pop the number dial on foam tape for a little dimension. And for added interest, there are several elements in the MFT Die-namics collection that fit within the number dial of the telephone and I used the smallest flower from the flower and leaf trio Die-namics. I stamped three of the sentiments from the set onto the small circle from the Ring Me Die-namics and stamp set and placed them in a row for the sentiment of my card. The patterned paper is from the Glitz Vintage Blue paper pad.

Here are the Die-namics I used:

Thanks for stopping by!

  8. You saved the day by telling us how to get the numbers lined up perfectly. I would have started as you and got very frustrated. Love the flower--it would be great to use some bright colors and make it look like the 70s.......I want that die set. ksh
