Fa la la la la {MFTWSC44}

It's time to get sketchy with the MFT Wednesday Stamp Club and sketch 44.

With each new release I have the same problem...too many cute Pure Innocence sets and not enough time to showcase them all during teasers. So, I'm making a dent in my uninked pile of new sets and using Pure Innocence Christmas Caroler for today's sketch.

I knew I wanted her to have a plaid dress, but plaid on the entire dress was overkill so I used two patterned papers and added a line of stickles on the "seam". She just had to have matching boots though, with fur trim, thanks to some white liquid appliqué (which I let dry for several hours before puffing it for more realistic smaller puff).

I used the new oval dainty doily die-namic as a backdrop for this cutie and added a cream felt snowflake that I cut out with the small size of the let it snowflake die-namic. I used the thin banner from first place award ribbon die-namics for the sentiment. I took a little creative liberty and extended the scallop layer down a little...it just looked better that way on my card. I used the small scallop border die-namic along the bottom. The music note paper is from the My Mind's Eye Christmas pad and the rest of the patterned papers are from the Echo Park Season's Greetings pad.

Here are the sketch details:

There's a prize each week for one participant, chosen at random. You may use any stamps and supplies that you wish. Each week a keyword is assigned to the sketch, and this week's keyword is MFTWSC44. All you need to do to enter is upload your card to the gallery at Splitcoast and enter the given keyword in the keyword box during the upload process. After the deadline (noon Eastern on Tuesday) we randomly choose a winner from that week's entries and the winner will receive a $15 gift voucher. If the winning card uses MFT stamps, the participant will earn a $5 bonus, for a total of a $20 gift voucher!
Be sure to head over to Kim's Blog to view the entire list of design team participants...there's plenty of inspiration for you with today’s sketch!

Here are the die-namics I used:

This is card #34 for my Project Christmas 2011.
Thanks for stopping by!
