Hey Chickie!

I spent some time in my stamp room over the past couple of days...just short amounts of time but I did manage to create two cards over the course of three sittings. I'm showing you one today but you'll have to wait for Friday to see the other one because it's for the Gettin' Hitched Bellarific Friday Challenge! By the way, have you submitted your card yet for this week's Bellarific Challenge? Think weddings, showers, anniversaries. You have until Thursday evening to send your submission to Em in order to be included in the Friday round up.
Alright...on to my card for today. With Easter being only a few days away I decided to use this sweet Daisy Birdie image from Stamping Bella. Well, to be honest, I also chose this image because there isn't a lot of colouring so I'm easing myself back into it.  :)
Isn't Daisy just the cutest?!? I couldn't resist pairing her with the warm fuzzy sentiment. I stamped the bird with Memento Tuxedo Black onto Bella's Bestest Paper and coloured it with copics. I added some sparkle to the flowers with my purple Spica glitter pen. The image is cut out with circle Nestabilities and I backed it with a purple scallop using my Big Scallop Circle Nestabilities...lovin' the big scallop nesties!!! Poor Daisy seemed a little lost in the circle of white though so I decided to try my hand at some grass with my Lyra pencils. I think it turned out pretty good for my first try!
The patterned paper is part of the Basic Grey Kioshi 6x6 pad. The sentiment was stamped onto the yellow layer then I ran it through my swiss dots Cuttlebug folder. I finished the card with a pretty purple bow and some medium lilac Glitter Dots.

Thanks for stopping by!
Karen
