MFTeaser - 40

Welcome to day four of seven fabulous days of MFT teasers!

I made a fun milestone birthday card for one of my sisters-in-law, using the new Big Numbers Die-namics, among other new products. Welcome to club 40 Christine! All the new products will be available in the MFT Boutique on July 9th at 10pm EDT. Hop over to the MFT Blog for a list of today's participating designers and for the amazing prize info!

I started with a Sweet Tooth card base then added a layer of Banana Split. The main part of the card was built around the fun new Big Numbers Die-namics.

I lined up the 4 and the 0 then taped them in place on the Sweet Tooth square, and ran it through my Vagabond. I knew I wanted to work with the negative areas of the die cuts but I saved the two inside pieces to add at the end. I layered the white square onto Razzle Berry then added a piece of patterned paper from the My Mind's Eye My Girl collection to highlight the numbers. I mounted the white square with foam tape.

The sentiment is from the new Birthday Greetings set, stamped with Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink. I used the new Sentiment Strips 2 Die-namics to cut out the Orange Fizz sentiment strip.

I needed a fun birthday element so I reached for the new Party Balloons and the Party Balloons Die-namics. I stamped the balloon with Razzle Berry Premium Dye Ink and added some curled Hemp Cord for the string.

On the inside I chose another sentiment from Birthday Greetings...isn't it perfect for a milestone birthday card!?! I used the border element from Blueprints 5 Die-namics to cut out the Razzle Berry strip.

Here are the supplies I used:

Great card and your stitching is ahhhhmazing as usual. I love that you added the inside pieces to the numbers. Drives me bonkers when they are left out. Seems so incomplete.
