The Clean and Simple 2 cardmaking class I've been taking over the past two weeks is wrapping up and my head is swimming with all the wonderful tips and techniques I've learned. One main thing I've learned is to look at my stamps differently.
I created this lovey-dovey card without using any Valentine specific stamp sets. The small heart and "xoxoxo" border are from the Coupon Book - Love set from MFT, and the sentiment is from Airplane Greetings, also from MFT. I started with a card base of Sweet Tooth then I stamped the heart repeatedly with Kraft Premium Dye Ink and added one red heart using Wild Cherry Premium Dye Ink for some impact. I stamped the sentiment with Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink. I felt the card needed a little bling so I added a row of rhinestones below the sentiment and gave the red heart a couple coats of clear glaze pen.
I haven't been keeping up with my homework from the class so I'm sure you'll be seeing more clean and simple cards in the future.
Here are the supplies I used.
Thanks for stopping by!
