The first challenge, LOVEFEST2013A is L.O.V.E....to incorporate those four letters into a project. Here's my love:
L - leaves
O - orange button and card stock
V - vanilla flower
E - embossing on the flag
I started with a card base of Whip Cream then added a layer of Orange Fizz. The main panel is Kraft card stock and this clean and simple layout is CTS15. As you can see I've stuck exactly to the sketch. I used the Mix and Match Banners Die-namics to cut out the Berrylicious flag, then I added texture to it thanks to an embossing folder. I stitched the flag in place (and yes, my stitching line isn't quite level, but I did it after two glasses of wine. Good thing it was a short line!) then stamped the sentiment from Pure Innocence All Occasion Sentiments using Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink.
I used the Upsy Daisy Die-namics to cut out the Whip Cream flower and Sour Apple leaves, then I topped it with an Orange Fizz button. I adhered the flower with foam tape for a little dimension then added a scattering of rhinestones for just a little bling.
Have fun if you decide to play along with the Love Fest challenges. There are fabulous prizes to be won!
Here are the supplies I used:
